The VW Passat SEL adds further refinement to the list of features included in lesser models through the addition of some subtle features such as the switch to LED headlights, tailights, and daytime running lights, along with enhanced visual elements both inside and outside to mark this model out.

Less subtle changes include the addition of 17" alloy wheels and an electric sunroof with tilt function. Keyless entry and start are both also included in the SEL model.
